Really excited for open water, and looking forward to the friluftsliv program students getting their first round of canoe instruction this weekend.
Went out to one of our local haunts here in Guilford, a little lake that’s perfect for students to get their first taste of paddling a canoe. Wanted to check to make sure the ice was out enough that we can play around with it this weekend, and took the opportunity to take out the 20 ft EM white canoe I picked up from our friend Don merchant at Pole and paddle At the end of last year. Even after a few decades of not being in the water, she still paddles like a dream. Going to re-canvass her this spring and put her through her paces getting to know her.
